The Genesis Electrified G80, the company's first production electric vehicle, was just released in Europe. In addition, two more electric cars are expected to be released in 2021, one of which will be based on a battery-powered vehicle chassis, most likely Hyundai's Electric-Global Modular Platform ( E-GMP ).

Genesis' first electric vehicle, as the name suggests, is an electric version of the G80 luxury sedan, which was previously only available with a combustion engine. With its elegance, luxury, and sophisticated, powerful driving manners, the Electrified G80 should dazzle. With a 136 kW motor at the front and rear, the basic all-wheel-drive system provides 272 kW / 370 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque. It takes 4.9 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 k/h.
