Emily Ratajkowski was born on June 7, 1991 in London, UK. As the child of two artists, she has always had a soft spot for culture. Her father, John David Ratajkowski, is an American painter and her mother, Kathleen Balgley, is a British writer and literature professor. Emily Ratajkowski travelled through Europe with her parents and spent a lot of time in the Irish city of Bantry and the Spanish holiday paradise Mallorca. She then attended high school in San Diego, California, and when she was only 14 years old, she was employed by the "Ford Models" modelling agency.
