At the CES in Las Vegas, BMW demonstrated an electric car that can change its exterior color at the push of a button: The BMW iX Flow uses so-called e-ink technology for this.
The flowing color change is made possible by a specially developed body wrapping tailored to the contours of the E-SUV. Stimulated by electrical impulses, the electrophoretic technology brings different color pigments to the surface, through which the body image takes on the desired coloration.
