POCO has launched a new phone from the POCO M series, the POCO M3 model. This is a mid-range smartphone with an unusual design of the back, where the module of the rectangular cameras placed in a horizontal glossy plastic. The whole frame of the phone is also made of a textured polycarbonate and is available in just three colours: blue, yellow and black.

Display

In the front, we find a 6.53-inch IPS Full HD + display with a 90% screen to body ratio protected with Gorilla Glass 3. POCO M3 is Widevine L1 certified, essential for watching HD content on Netflix and other video streaming services.

Processor

Inside we have the 2.0Ghz Snapdragon 662 processor which was launched this year and which brings the Adreno 610 GPU. The processor is completed by 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64 / 128GB UFS 2.1 / 2.2 storage depending on the model.

Also, we have a microSD card slot and fingerprint reader located on the side.

Battery

POCO M3 has a 6000mAh battery that supports fast charging at 18W. The strange thing is that in the box the device comes with a 22.5W charger. Despite the massive battery, the thickness and weight of the phone are reasonable at 9.6mm and 198g respectively.

Camera

POCO M3 opts for an 8MP selfie camera placed in the drop-shaped display, while in the back we have a triple camera module:

Other features are the presence of the IR port, stereo speakers and the 3.5mm jack. POCO M3 comes with MIUI 12 interface based on Android 10.

The starting price of the POCO M3 is 150 euros.
