Kitzbuhel, one of the largest and most famous winter sports resort in Austria, is located in a beautiful valley at the base of Kitzbuheler Horn. After reaching prosperity in the 16th century thanks to the copper and silver mine, Kitzbuhel has since become a stylish complex for an international clientele drawn by its excellent skis and winter events with summer activities such as hiking and golf.
