The new Mustang Mach-E is equipped with the most up-to-date Ford technology available today, ensuring top safety and a unique driving experience in all conditions. The new Ford Mustang Mach-E introduces a range of innovative technologies and applications that make it possible to control the individual functions of the car, living in its advanced interior, communicating with the outside world and the interface, but also the intrusive feeling behind the wheel a unique experience with high-tech features.

In the Ford Mustang Mach-E, the next-generation SYNC system makes its debut allowing the personalization of more than 80 vehicle settings (from the cabin temperature and seat position to the interior lighting) for a completely personalized in-car experience. Machine learning better understands the driver's habits over time by making the appropriate navigation and communication tips at the right time so that drivers are focused on the road.

The advanced voice recognition system understands natural, everyday speech, in 15 languages, so that owners can control everything. From entertainment and navigation functions to the cab environment and telephone calls. To provide the best answers to commands and questions, the system complements its intelligence with results from internet searches with the help of the FordPass Connect modem which belongs to the basic equipment.

Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are pre-installed at no extra charge with wireless connectivity. At the same time, the 15.5 ”touch screen is controlled via touch gestures (pinch, zoom, rotate) and adopts a simplified interface that displays information in an organized and digestible way. Also, the control at the bottom is intended for quick adjustment of the volume for music or teleconferencing. Connectivity has been further improved with SYNC AppLink, with supported applications such as what3words, Waze and Webex achieving more substantial vehicle-smartphone interaction. A wireless charging cradle for smartphones is always available.

The next-generation SYNC system also boosts driver confidence with connected navigation. Real-time traffic reports and precautionary information are provided by TomTom local services, while Garmin in-vehicle and in-cloud guidance provide drivers with the best routes to their destination. Trips can be scheduled in advance and directions can be forwarded to the car via the FordPass app.

Access to the interior of the car is easy and effortless with Phone As A Key technology, which makes its debut at Ford with the new Mustang Mach-E. Using Bluetooth, the vehicle can detect the owners' smartphones as they approach the vehicle, unlocking the doors and allowing them to start without having to take their phone out of their pocket or use a key.

If the mobile phone is fully discharged, Mustang Mach-E owners can enter a security code on the keyboard located on the B-pillar of the vehicle, as well as a separate code on the central touch screen inside to start the car. The Mustang Mach-E can also activate each driver's settings before entering the car, recognizing him from his smartphone or keychain as he approaches.

While driving, everyone can easily adapt the driving experience to their mood and conditions, choosing from different driving profiles, with Whisper, Active and Untamed designed to enhance the driving experience, changing the intrusive feel behind the wheel.

The Active program combines the quiet operation of a purely electric vehicle with the well-known performance of conventional Mustangs, making the Mustang Mach-E ideal for everyday driving. In this program, a soft blue light bathes the cabin, while on the dashboard, the dynamic EcoMode indicator helps maximize energy efficiency.

The new Ford Mustang Mach-E is equipped with a package of advanced driver support technologies that maximize the enjoyment of travel. Among the technologies are the Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go and Lane Centring, which automatically maintains a comfortable distance from the vehicles in front and helps to keep the vehicle in the centre of the lane. The system can completely immobilize the vehicle in heavy traffic conditions and restart it

Active Park Assist, in turn, offers fully automated parking manoeuvres in parallel and vertical spaces, with the push of a button.

Pre-Collision Assist with Auto Emergency Braking, which can detect pedestrians and bicyclists in the vehicle who may intend to cross the road, activates the brakes if it detects an impending collision and the driver does not respond when the system warns.

The Lane-Keeping System with Blind Spot Assist, which monitors the driver's blind spot for oncoming vehicles from behind, can apply light torque to the steering wheel to warn the driver and discourage him from changing lanes if he detects an impending collision.

With the new Ford Mustang Mach-E, owners will be able to pre-configure their car before they even receive it, using the new Remote Vehicle Setup feature. Thus, the latter can create a personalized profile to save your favourite settings and places they go to very often, such as your workplace, but also to mark the nearest charging stations.

The settings can be made online or through the FordPass application and relate to, among other things, information related to the daily departure times, the desired comfort settings in the cabin and the battery charge levels.

Overall, the personalization profiles are stored in the cloud, so that when the driver receives the keys and pairs their smartphone with the new Mustang Mach-E for the first time, all the settings are transferred to the vehicle. Beyond that, future over-the-air updates will also allow the personalization of the default radio stations before vehicle delivery. @via Ford.
